About Oxford Tutorials

"Scientia est potestas"

Oxford Tutorials is a well-established language school and tutorial college. Teaching is arranged either on a one-to-one basis, or in small classes (in the region of 2 - 5 students), so that students receive maximum individual attention. Tuition is conducted by Oxford University graduates who are well versed and qualified in teaching English as a Foreign Language (and other subjects on request ) to any level of proficiency, and all ability levels are catered for (Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced). E.F.L. students generally recieve 20 hours' tuition per week, including grammar studies, reading and listening comprehension, and lectures on British culture and/or conversational classes. Other subject courses, including G.C.S.E. and 'A' Level revision, can be arranged on request.

In addition to the academic programme, we offer an interesting range of social and sporting activities which make the most of all that Oxford has to offer, including visits to colleges, museums, galleries, punting/boating trips, swimming, badminton, basketball and trips to places of historical and cultural interest in and around the city.

Students stay either with carefully selected English host families, or may, during University vacations (especially Easter and summer), opt to stay in residential accommodation in an Oxford College. In either case they receive breakfast, packed lunch, and cooked evening meal.
